Arrival Dates:
Placements start on every Monday of the month so please arrive on the Sunday before. Take note that the placement is closed between 15th August and 2nd September for a summer break and also between 15th December and 15th January. There may also be an Easter break in April. Please contact us for availibilty if looking to travel at this time.

Preferred Duration:
There is no preferred duration but we believe that the longer you can stay the more you will experience and benefit.
Typical Hours:
The tennis sessions take place during week day afternoons for approximately 3 to 4 hours. Occasional competitions and tournaments at weekends will keep you busy but are usually free for personal time and travel. Please be aware that some public holidays may cause disruption to times / days during your volunteer project.
Prerequisites:
No prior tennis coaching experience or qualifications are required, but a strong understanding of the game and/or playing experience is necessary. You also need to be healthy and of reasonable fitness. Basic conversational Spanish is required.
Ideal For:
Sports gap years, career breaks, gap breaks, gap years and volunteer travel.
Accommodation:
Homestay accommodation; Basic but comfortable; Shared rooms; Shared toilet / shower with homestay.
Food:
Breakfast and dinner included; Budget £2-£3 per day for lunches.
Airport Pick-Up:
Included on arrival date. Ask us for details if you are arriving early.
Training:
Full project induction and local orientation given on arrival.
Support:
Pre-departure help and advice; Local in-country team; 24 hour emergency support.
Donation:
Part of your fee is used to buy decent equipment for the project and community you work with.
Flights; Travel Insurance; Visas; Vaccinations; Spending money; In country travel; Payment for transport to / from placement; Laundry service; Soft drinks and alcohol; Extra activities not on itinerary.
